"Passages"
This watercolor was inspired by a visit to this beautiful, old place many years ago. These ruins portrayed a metaphor for life. As we age, we move through passages and up steps. Eventually, we step out of life. The brightness on the other side of life obscures the details that we might hope to see, but it invites us to have peace. Perhaps it is simply too brilliant to understand.
